The Nomadic Phenomenon of Alternative Museum Making: (Re)imagining what a museum is and can be, is an artistic research that questions whether museums can exist outside the notion of traditional institutions.

This research forms the theoretical and practical framework of Rainy Siagian’ in her attempt to generate an open platform, a rootless art space and / or the so-called ‘nomadic museum’. In her research she emphasizes the relationship between the space, the object it inhabits, the viewers, and how these entities affect and activate one another. TNPoAMM endeavors to answer questions from its architectural, sociological, cultural, and political perspectives and challenges.
